Kathy Caldwell
After nearly three decades cultivating a devoted following in Southern California, Kathy Caldwell relocated to New Jersey in 2025 to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter. An acclaimed artist, Caldwell was honored as the 2010 Distinguished Artist of La Quinta and was a longtime featured exhibitor at the prestigious La Quinta Arts Festival, King’s Mountain Art Festival, Sausalito Art Festival, and the La Jolla Festival of the Arts. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural contours and hues of the desert mountains that once surrounded her home, a landscape that continues to inform her distinctive aesthetic.
Caldwell received her formal training in art and design at the University of California, Berkeley’s Fine Art Department and the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles. She began creating jewelry more than fifty years ago in a small Chicago studio, where her exceptional craftsmanship quickly drew the attention of discerning galleries and fine jewelry retailers throughout the city. She later served as Vice President and Head Merchandiser for a series of high-end jewelry stores in San Diego, specializing in both precious and semi-precious stones, a role that further refined her expertise and solidified her reputation within the luxury jewelry world.
